Story
Hi there!
I'm participating in this year's Birdman Rally and fundraising for a cause that's close to our hearts - finding a cure for melanoma.
On Sunday 10 March 2024 from 11am to 1pm I'll be jumping from a significant height into the "pristine" Yarra River dressed as a GIANT BUTTERFLY.
With the amazing support of sponsor LUCAS REAL ESTATE and my creative directors, the prep students at Mordialloc Beach Primary School - I shall soar to new fundraising heights!!!
So why am I doing this?? Well, I've been inspired by Morgan Mansell and her family.
At just 25 years old Morgan Mansell passed away after a short battle with melanoma.
"While Morgan is no longer with us, her legacy lives on. We want to keep Morgan’s memory alive. We want as many people as possible to be aware of the dangers and signs of melanoma. We also know that raising funds to support melanoma research at The Alfred is the best way to find a cure for the disease." – Peter Mansell, Morgan’s Father
